InnateScan Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information InnateScan collects when you use the posture scan, how that information is used, and the choices you have. By using InnateScan, you agree to the practices described below.
1.Information We Collect
- Camera access — used locally on your device to perform the posture scan. The pose-detection model runs in your browser; camera imagery is not uploaded, stored, or transmitted to our servers, and is discarded from memory when the scan completes.
- Geolocation — used to identify the nearest participating chiropractor. Your location is processed for that lookup and is not stored on our servers.
- Scan results — your calculated posture, balance, and spinal-health scores. To support shareable result links, these results are saved on our servers (see Data Retention). Stored results are de-identified and do not include camera images.
- Email address — collected at the report screen so your results can be delivered to the assigned practice.
- Name — optional, collected at the report screen.
2.How We Use Your Information
- Camera and geolocation data is processed locally and is not retained on our servers.
- Scan results are saved to generate a shareable results page and are used in de-identified, aggregate form to improve the screening.
- Your email and name are shared only with the chiropractor practice assigned to your scan session, so that practice can follow up with you.
- We do not sell your information to third parties.
3.Analytics & Cookies
With your consent, InnateScan uses Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the screening is used. These tools set cookies and similar identifiers. They are activated only after you grant consent — if you decline, this tracking does not run. We do not use cookies to sell your personal information.
4.Data Retention
- Camera images: never stored — processed on your device and discarded after the scan.
- Geolocation: used at the time of your request and not stored.
- Scan results: saved on our servers to power shareable result links. They are retained until expiry where an expiry period is configured, and otherwise kept for the operation of the service; stored results are de-identified.
- Email and name: delivered to, and retained by, the assigned practice in accordance with their own privacy policy. Lead delivery is handled through our processor, GoHighLevel.
5.Children
InnateScan is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
